Kaputas Beach

Kaputas Beach, a beautiful natural beach is just a 10 minutes drive on the coastal road from Kalkan in the direction of Kas. It is possible to park your car there. It also exists a regular Dolmus (minibus) connection between Patara and Kas and return which you can enter in Kalkan and exit directly at the beach. Based on the location direct to the street there are no Hotels and hardly any shadow places and you should bring with you enough food and water with you when you would like stay there for the whole day.

Being a very popular location, shown in several Turkey Advertisments as the world-famous Kaputas Beach, the way downwards to the beach includes more than 180 steps! Placed at the bottom of the canyon, fresh mountain water cascades down and mixes with the sea water, which causes the spectacular turquoise colour. In spring you can see the small waterfall in the Kaputas Canyon.

For professional divers this place is a perfect basis to explore all the caves and shipwrecks in depth of the sea nearby.
